Dr Angus Nurse is lecturer in criminology at Birmingham City University where he researches environmental justice, green criminology and restorative justice issues. Angus teaches in criminology and criminal investigations (including environmental and animal crimes), has published widely on wildlife and environmental crime and has contributed to academic publications on the links between animal abuse and human violence, criminality in animal crimes and the enforcement of animal law. His other research interests include ADR and the compensation culture.
